Our founder
For over 20 years, Lori Frisher has been cultivating experience in the gifts industry. Her entrepreneurial talent started in New York over 20 years ago in the gift industry working with some of the biggest gourmet markets like Dean & Deluca, fashion houses, farmer’s markets, and wineries on the south and north fork of Long Island. Her family is connected in the events and antique industry in NY which gives Top Shelf Baskets extended resources outside Colorado.
What she has always loved most is sharing her creativity of thinking "outside the box" with her clients. She cares about the stories and nature of the recipient who will receive one of her gifts. And when she is creating for a corporate client, she works impeccably to deliver baskets and gifts that reflect that thoughtful nature of the giver.
Her mission today is to create the finest customized gift baskets for any occasion. Lori sources top quality local (when possible) food, epicurean purveyors, and unique gift items, leaving a lasting impression.
When Lori isn’t making her clients happy with Top Shelf baskets, she is dedicated to creating a better world through her commitment and passion to volunteer on a regular basis with Cancer League of Colorado, Listen Foundation, Invisible Disabilities Association, and the disabled sports community. Her talent and energy supports people with life challenging circumstances.
What sets us apart
We are one of a kind! No one out there is doing customized storytelling baskets. We use only high quality containers providing the gift in a gift. We ask our clients to share 5 things about the recipient so we can build our baskets based on the personality of individual. People who order see the work and the trust is developed very quickly.
Time frame
We have done single theme baskets in 24 hours although our requested lead time is at least 3 days for individual orders, or a week for large corporate orders. We charge an additional fee of $25 for rush orders next day. We are taking orders for Christmas early so we can provide the best customer experience.
Pricing
Our baskets start at $100 and are scalable. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Zelle, and checks.
Who are our clients?
Our clients include a range of individuals and businesses who give unique gifts for all occasions. From Christmas gifts to birthdays or anniversaries, we’ve got you covered. We also cater to the business to business market by developing client gifts for realtors, builders, mortgage brokers, capital/investment firms, title companies, healthcare groups, and those in hospitality. Our unique baskets are a hit for individuals, parties (such as weddings and trade shows), and large corporate events.
Lori frequently gives presentations for clients where she can bring live samples so people can see the quality. Her presentations are popular in the real estate industry, networking groups, financial groups and more.
Locally sourced
Top Shelf often works with local purveyors to support the Colorado community. As an example, Gateaux Bakery and Victory Love Cookies were founded by a survivor of breast cancer. Our products are carefully sourced.
Logo integration
We can create branded items in basket such as cookies having worked with some of the best designers in the bakery world.
Containers/baskets
Each container is different although our samples are representative of the style and theme of our options. Everything we put in our baskets is amazing. We do not use typical “filler” items, as we seek the best quality for our client’s budget. “Baskets” range from wicker to briefcases to wood crates to metal trays. All high end and usable for multiple occasions.
Packaging for delivery
Our baskets are wrapped in cellophane and/or tulle with twine. We don’t use ribbons. We don’t use crinkle, we use Spanish moss in a variety of colors.
Suppliers
Top Shelf works with a variety of suppliers providing a stellar product which consists of baskets and novelties.
Delivery
We deliver locally for $35 and ship throughout the state at an extra charge. We work with courier services for volume orders.
We deliver all over the United States. We don’t recommend last minute orders for out of state deliveries as shipping costs are high. We do the packaging for all shipments.
Our turn around time for baskets with storytelling is 3-4 days depending on what is needed for the baskets. It may take up to 5 days.
Alcohol cannot be shipped across state lines. If we do alcohol in our baskets client needs to supply it until we receive license.
Location
We are located in Cherry Creek which you can also pick up baskets should you not want it delivered.
Community partnerships
We work with TACT a local non-profit organization that is first and only autistic trade school in the nation. Lori is very active personally and professionally in the disability community. It is very near and dear to her heart. She loves promoting TACT baskets to her clients. The basket featured on our home page was created by an individual with autism. The detail of the basket is incredible. Lori believes in the importance of hiring people with disabilities. If anyone is interested in buying a basket from TACT. Lori gives 100 % of the revenue to TACT who pays the artist. The basket sample comes in 3 other woods which range from $50-$70 a piece. We take orders for this and it is delivered one week from the time the order is placed.
